BSkyB is one of the most well-known brands operating in the UK today. The company provides a range of services, including satellite and digital television, broadband, and telephone services. It is one of the largest and most well known brands in the UK.
BSkyB was in the process of switching over its operating systems to the Windows 7 OS released by Microsoft. They needed to collect a range of user data from their current employees to find out current user information. That would be utilised in facilitating a successful migration of all BSkyB services over to the new operating system.
The problem faced by BSkyB was finding a quick and efficient way to collect the relevant user data from their employees. The method chosen would have to ensure minimal paperwork, while also achieving a degree of automation that could make it easier to implement.
Imobisoft had the task to create a fully integrated survey solution that would allow BSkyB to individually assess each staff member and obtain the required information from them.
This information was then sent to an online database that would be fully usable by BSkyB to complete the migration to Windows 7.
The data was fully encrypted to ensure maximum security levels. BSkyB could extract it when and if needed. All data maintained was subject to the Data Protection Act 1998 and Imobisoft ensured full compliance with all data protection and security procedures when handling the attained data.
